\nThe Office has achieved the following;-
\n– Empowerment of HomaBay County Women on leadership skills.
\n– Enhancement of Women Economic Empowerment through provision of cooler boxes in collaboration with Coca-Cola Company.
\n– Awareness creation on revolving funds i.e. Uwezo Fund, Women Enterprise Fund in all the County\/Wards.
\n– Girl Child Mentorship Program dubbed \u201cMama County Says\u201d which is done twice a year.
\n– Creation of the first HomaBay County Women Sacco with over 6000 registered members who are saving and getting loans at minimized interest rates.
\n– Advocating on Girl Child Rights in the county through various programs i.e. \u201chands off our girls\u201d and back to school program known as \u201cTing Nyako Malo\u201d.
\n– Participating in Community Health Issues i.e. Jigger Eradication program in which people were treated and given free shoes all-over the county.
\n– Assisting the needy in society through the distribution of relief food and giving out wheel chairs to the disabled people.
\n– Participating in the formation of women groups and youth groups in the county and supporting their economic activities, e.g. bee-keeping for honey production in Gwassi and peanut butter production in Rangwe Constituency.
\n– Starting Open Days Program in various wards in which people are encouraged to register as voters, register for I.D. Cards, NHIF, giving out births and death certificates for free.
\n– Participating in various fundraisings in all parts of the county to support churches, schools, organizations, students etc.
\n-Drafting Bills in parliament which were later approved by the legislators themselves i.e. Cancer Initiative Bill.
\n-Protecting the party and actively involved in party issues.
\n-The first Woman Representative to hold party chair in the county.
\n-The best ranked woman representative in the Nation.
\n-Employment of many staff across the county.
\n-A strong debater in parliament.
\n-The first Woman Commissioner in Nyanza region.
\n-Participated in the formation of affirmative action social development fund.
\n-Participated in the construction of market shades for women in HomaBay County in areas i.e. Kodiera in Ndhiwa and HomaBay Pier in HomaBay.
\n-Supporting in building fish cold storage facility at HomaBay Pier which is ongoing.
