Participants examined the barriers that continue to limit the participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in political and governance processes and explored practical solutions to promote inclusion and accountability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Speaking during the engagement, Senator Prof. Margaret J. Kamar emphasized the importance of peaceful and inclusive electoral processes, noting that elections are a democratic exercise through which citizens choose their leaders and should be free from violence. She called for the creation of a political environment where women, youth, and marginalized groups can participate fully in leadership and governance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The discussions underscored the need for stronger civic engagement, responsive political parties, and institutions that uphold democratic values and equal participation.
