The Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) is a cross party caucus bringing on board all women parliamentarians drawn from both houses (National Assembly and Senate). The caucus works to promote and protect democracy and advocate for women’s rights.

The Associationโs staff retreat brought together the team to take stock of ongoing work, reflect on lessons from implementation and align priorities for the next phase of KEWOPAโs legislative,
KEWOPA congratulates Sen. Betty Montet on her appointment as Chairperson of the Education Committee and Sen Hamida Kibwana as Chairperson of the Senate Roads Committee.
These appointments reflect the trust placed in their leadership and parliamentary experience.
